Ball Roller changes
The Castle
An abandoned and derelict castle sat high on the mountain, a beacon drawing all Ballers into its domain
Increased climb difficulty
The Castle brings a notable jump in difficulty and creativity. There's plenty of tight sections where the best Ballers will need to use every millimetre of space to climb, and the sheer mountain face provides no safety net.
While increasingly raw difficulty hikes are not the end goal of Ball Roller, the castle serves as an Idea of the peak difficulty but the least complexity. There's a few skips to make repeating difficult sections easy but admittedly not much room for creativity. Simple.
Improved visuals
After staring at this game for far too long, I decided it would be best to take a stab at improving the visuals without destroying the already present image of Ball Roller.
Shadows
The biggest change is the addition of shadows to create contrast across the whole climb, the screenshots should speak for themselves as to the improvements. If its not your cuppa there's a setting to disable shadows and return to the old visuals.
Delivery
There's a fair amount of touch-up and bugfixes to be done along with waiting for a minor engine update. Expect this update to show up in roughly a month, or two at most!
