Backrooms: New Gate changes
Hi!
I’m preparing a major update that will bring even more atmosphere, mysteries, and possibilities to the game. Here’s what’s coming next:
🔹 Story and New Characters The game will now feature a full-fledged storyline! The narrative will become deeper and more mysterious. New characters will also appear.
🔹 Improved Notes and Audio Logs Explorer notes will be more informative yet shorter, making them easier to read. I’ve revised some, added new ones, and optimized audio logs for a better listening experience.
🔹 New and Enhanced Video Logs I’ve reworked the game’s video materials now they are clearer, more detailed, atmospheric, and better at conveying the essence of what’s happening.
🔹 Save System for Puzzle Levels You’ll now be able to save progress on certain levels with puzzles, making gameplay more convenient.
🔹 New Level Selection Menu This is one of the key changes. When you click “Play,” a level catalog will open, allowing you to select any level you want to play. No need to start over jump straight into the action!
🔹 New Levels – Pool Rooms! I’m adding five new levels featuring eerie, abandoned pools in this update.
🔹 Secret Mechanic A new gameplay feature will be introduced, further enhancing immersion into the world of Backrooms.
🔹 Development of Level 94 I’m also working on Level 94 one of the most mysterious and visually stunning levels. It will feature a surreal suburban atmosphere and unexpected story twists!
