Backrooms: Extractions changes
You have all had that moment. The Smiler holding perfectly still at the end of a corridor, just far enough away that nobody believes you afterwards. A teammate caught mid-fall through a hole that was not there a second earlier. A Partygoer standing in a doorway like it had been invited. Until now the only things that came home with you were the loot and the story, and nobody ever quite believes the story.
Capture those moments with your bodycam and pin them in the LAB.
The Wall of Unexplained Cases
The Field records wall is down on the LAB floor, and it belongs to the crew now. Bring the shot back through extraction and put it up. Everyone walking past sees it. Every M.E.G. operative in your group can pin theirs next to yours, and the board fills up run after run with the things you barely got out of. Horrifying, ridiculous, or just a friend doing something unwise. It all counts.
Take the Shot • Your bodycam takes a photo whenever you want one, mid-chase or mid-disaster. It flashes so you know it landed, and shows you when the next one is ready.
Everyone Pins, Not Just the Host • Any M.E.G. member can put a photo forward now, not only the one running the operation, and the host waves it through. The wall used to be a decoration. It is the group's record now.
You Know When Yours Goes Up • Your visor tells you the moment your photo makes the wall, and warns the host when a teammate is waiting. Nobody has to camp in front of the board.
The Wall Remembers • What goes up stays up between runs. Come back from a bad night and everything the crew brought back before is still hanging there.
Nicer to Live With • What you already shared is marked so you do not offer it twice, and anything that cannot go up tells you why instead of a flat refusal.
Inventory and Storage
LAB Storage Stacks • Dropping off the same item one at a time used to burn a fresh slot every time. Identical items now merge into one stack, in Endless and Classic alike.
Your PDA Stops Ending Up on the Floor • Dying no longer scatters the items you can never throw away yourself.
Downed Players
Down Means Down • Crawling on the floor no longer lets you open doors, loot, and pull a tool back out. Reviving a teammate and using the self-revive kit are untouched.
Everything else in this job is something you found. This is the first thing that is yours. Fill the wall, and show me what the Backrooms did to you.
