BET is Releasing to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 18th, 2026

Prepare to Journey Through the Backrooms on Console!

We are super excited to announce that Backrooms: Escape Together is officially coming to

console on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, releasing globally June 18th, 2026. The team

here at Triiodide has poured in countless hours of work and effort to bring BET over to console,

and we can’t wait to deliver the full Backrooms: Escape Together to a brand new player base and

to all of our console players out there!

Cross-Platform Play:

Backrooms: Escape Together on console fully supports cross-platform play, enabling you to

traverse through the Backrooms alongside your friends whether you’re on Xbox, PlayStation, or

Steam on PC. Full proximity chat is supported as well, allowing players to communicate

seamlessly in game regardless of which platform you play on.

All 11 Levels, All the Same Features:

The console version includes all 11 procedurally generated levels (including the brand new Level

1. and the exact same features as BET on Steam. We also pushed to the absolute limit on

performance and graphics to deliver a fully immersive and authentic Backrooms experience on

console.

Preorders of Backrooms: Escape Together are available to purchase on Xbox Series X|S starting

today, May 28th, for $19.99 USD with the game launching and open to play on June 18th, 2026.

For PlayStation 5, the official Backrooms: Escape Together Game Hub will also go live today in

the PlayStation store, where it’s available to wishlist. You can find the Backrooms: Escape

Together game store page and game hub on both the official PlayStation Store and Xbox Store,

either on console or web.

New Level Out NOW: The Infinite Super Market

Lambda researchers has discovered Level 232, the "Infinite Super Market", a sprawling series of aisles and warehouses.

Researchers found this area to be very hostile. A group of new entities has been found on the level. However, it makes for a good source of supplies. Grab what you can while you can, and make it out before the store closes.

232 marks our most detailed level yet with the most unique assets out of any level. We would love to hear your feedback on it.

How to Access:

Level 232, the Infinite Super Market. Level 232 is entered by going down the slide at the end of Level FUN, if you have already completed Level FUN, Level 232 will be unlocked and auto selected in your Journey selection screen.
