This is the Backroom Company development team.

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has shown interest in and played Backroom Company. As a Korean indie development team, we continue to provide updates and improvements even after the official release in order to deliver a better gameplay experience.

We sincerely apologize to anyone who has experienced inconveniences or bugs while playing, and we will continue doing our best to identify and fix issues as quickly as possible. Your valuable feedback is a great help to the development team.

While we may not be able to fully satisfy every playstyle and preference, we will continue gathering and reflecting as much feedback as possible so that Backroom Company can become an even more polished game.

The v206.107 patch has been applied.

This update includes the following improvements and additions.

[Improvements and Changes]

• The main game engine has been updated from Unreal Engine 5.5 to Unreal Engine 5.7.

• Through this engine version upgrade, we have carried out overall optimization improvements.

• We have improved some visual artifact issues that occurred in certain environments.

• We have also refined the game’s internal technical foundation for long-term maintenance and future update support.

[New Additions]

• A supporter-exclusive DLC pack has been added.

• The new DLC includes the special costume ‘Partygore Skin’.

• This DLC is a cosmetic item created as a token of appreciation for players who support Backroom Company.

• Revenue from this DLC will be used for future Backroom Company updates and the development of the sequel, Backroom Cleaners.

[Stability Notice]

This update includes a relatively large technical update involving an engine version upgrade.

The development team has conducted internal QA and checked the main features and gameplay flow, but due to the nature of the engine version upgrade, unexpected stability issues or graphics-related problems may occur in some environments.

If you experience issues after the update, such as abnormal crashes, frame rate drops, graphical glitches, or progression-blocking problems, please report them with as much detail as possible. We will review them and respond as quickly as we can.
