Backpack Dungeon Future Update Plan: Workshop Support Is in Progress!

Since the official launch of Backpack Dungeon, we have been reading your comments, feedback, and suggestions over the past few days. Thank you so much for playing the game, and thank you to everyone who took the time to write down their thoughts.

We are now organizing our future update plans. Besides continuing to fix issues and improve the overall experience, one of the more important things we are planning next is:

Opening Workshop support.

We hope that players will be able to take part in expanding the content of Backpack Dungeon, creating more interesting and more flexible ways to play.

The first phase of Workshop support is currently planned to include:

1. Background Music Players will be able to replace the game’s background music and battle music.

2. Removing Built-in Items Players will be able to remove certain built-in items and adjust the item pool themselves.

3. Custom Items Custom items will be supported, but in the first phase, they will be limited to existing abilities to avoid too many uncontrollable issues.

4. Custom Characters Players will be able to create brand-new characters, including basic character settings and build directions.

5. Custom Skins Players will be able to customize character appearances and starting equipment.

These features are still being planned and developed, so the final release time and supported functions may change depending on development progress. We will do our best to build everything step by step. You are also very welcome to keep leaving comments and tell us which Workshop features you would like to see first.

A pixel-style dungeon Roguelike game made by a friend, Tap Dungeon, is expected to launch in August.

It is a pixel-style fantasy dungeon Roguelike adventure. Players can choose from classes such as Warrior, Assassin, and Mage, enter randomly generated card-based mazes, fight goblins, orcs, and undead, collect artifacts, and challenge hidden bosses. Death is a new beginning, and countless Builds are waiting to be conquered. Become the hero who saves the kingdom!
