Axial Rift continues to make great progress in many areas! These include the underlying custom game engine, enemies, npcs, player controls, the level editor, level designs, and more! Below is a list of the kinds of things that have been done since the last dev log about 2 months ago:
Progress on level designs
Improved navigation pathfinding for all enemies
Improvements to enemy AI behavior
Improved NPC behavior
Added support for unique meshes/textures for each NPC
Improved player aerial attacks and made controls more intuitive for them
Added new sound effects
Level editor improvements, especially for the gamepad control scheme
Improved multithreading data handling
Many performance optimizations
Many bug fixes
