changedA unique tactical combat system: Movement automatically targets your skills, and movement paths displace others on the map. Rearranging the map to evade enemies or save allies must be balanced with targeting the area attack unleashed with each move.
addedSpells and summons: Consumable spells have mapwide effects that are targeted positionally, and each summon can be called upon once per battle for new mechanics or situational effects. As you advance, your strategic options in each battle increase.
addedThe enemy grows with you: You’re rewarded with a new skill with each region liberated, but that region’s minion spawns in all following battles. Your path through the realm builds the power of the Astrals - choose carefully!
changedOur goal is to gather more feedback on the combat system, progression, and usability of the game, as well as balance the content planned for our public demo.

We’ll have more details to share when we start admitting playtesters, but here is an overview of the content that will be available:

  • 6 Champions, each with a unique skill

  • 15 Spells, consumable mapwide actions rewarded after each battle

  • 6 Summons, which provide powerful alternate skills to your Champions

  • 3 regions, each with unique visuals and mechanics

This is a subset of the content planned for release, but should give you a taste of the game’s key features:

Our goal is to gather more feedback on the combat system, progression, and usability of the game, as well as balance the content planned for our public demo.
