Athemore changes
For the past month, I've been working hard on building an actual save system for Athemore. It has definitely been a challenge, but also a fun experience for me to work on.
Patch notes:
Added the long waited save system. It's now possible to save your progress manually into predefined save slots or using a quick save shortcut (F5). Furthermore the game now auto saves at checkpoints.
When you die, you don't automatically respawn anymore. Instead you get to chose on which save game you want to load. This also means that any progression made passed the recent save wont be saved.
The Game Settings Menu panels now auto-saves any applied settings. It's also possible to restore the settings back to default.
Fixed a bug where the platform puzzle didn't register the correct tile being pressed within the sequence.
Fixed some minor bugs across the board.
The next task will be for me to improve the visuals of the Game Menu and add better looking artwork for the UI components such as the Journal and Inventory. Likewise I want to do something about the Steam images as well.
In addition I want to add some sound effects when players interact with the UI buttons.
