Happy (belated) World Pangolin Day from the Asurya's Embers team!
Our studio acknowledges that while one of game enemies is represented by a mutated colossal pangolin, we disavow any endorsement or encouragement of violence directed toward these remarkable creatures.
Approximately 200,000 pangolins annually fall victim to poaching activities, thereby significantly endangering their existence within their indigenous habitats spanning Africa and Asia. Pangolins are identified as one of the most heavily trafficked mammals globally.
As a unified team, we have, in a symbolic gesture, undertaken the adoption of a Pangolin through a contribution to the World Wildlife Fund. Our goal is for wildlife preservation initiatives to persist and prosper.
We hope this inspires developers and players worldwide to use their resources to ongoing conservation efforts. Looking forward to our mutated enemies landing in your Steam libraries on March 6th, and the wellbeing of our non -mutated pangolin friends far into the future!
