Asurya's Embers changes
Happy Lunar New Year from all of us from the Asurya's Embers team!
With our community page now live, allow us a moment to introduce ourselves. We are a group of 24, multinational student-developers at SMU Guildhall. We made Asurya's over the course of an 18-week period, exclusively working during core development hours (Monday-Friday, 10:00 - 1:00 PM).
As a studio, we were dedicated to creating a polished game, that previews AAA-level quality within the constraints of development. We wanted to not only make innovative systems - we aimed to create an immersive experience. Ours was a team that embraced innovation, actively seeking opportunities to explore new ideas and acquire fresh skills.
It was important to us that we incorporate and acknowledge our multicultural, international background. We set our game in the Himalayas as an homage to our team members from South Asia and China, transforming a famous legend into novel, inspiring game-play.
Above all, Asurya's Embers was made in a collaborative environment of mutual care and respect. We cannot wait to share our game with you when it releases on March 6th!
