Astronium 1.2 - Weapon Pickups And Interface Update
After watching some of you play, i found that the lack of informations about certain aspects of the game were unclear for new players, so, i made new features to help with that.
New features :
Added a player interface when holding the TAB button or the Right Trigger on the controller. It shows a variety of informations about your current weapon, player's techpiece count and max life.
Added a pedestal in the forest where you can see more information about the types of skills that rare weapons can have.
Weapon pickup system completely remade, fixed problems such as collecting two weapons at the same time, duplications and other issues related to pickups.
Audio settings are now saved.
Added a improved furnace near to the central campfire in the forest. For now it doesn't have any use, but it's going to play a huge role in the next update.
Fixes :
Fixed Pickups being duplicated, deleted, and the possibility of them being collected at the same time, causing one of them to disappear, i remade the entire system to be sure that this is not going to happen anymore.
Fixed a strange bug where a certain particle would appear after collecting a item
Fixed the first panel in the prologue not being able to be interacted in the controller, that was the case with other interactable objects too, was caused by a older version of my current way to handle controller inputs.
A lot of minor fixes.
What's coming next?
This update was originally going to be part of a bigger one, but i decided to divide them in two parts. Now it's time for the forge to take place!
