Astromeda changes
Hey everyone!
It's time for the monthly full game update! Steam post image (One Bacteria Bean for you)
Progress on the game since the last news update has been pretty crazy.
Last time, I talked about how the game's third area is split into two major parts, with the first part mostly finished.
The second part is much bigger, so I expected it to take a lot longer. Even though it is not finished yet, we are already much closer to the end of it than I thought we would be at this point.
My hope is that by the next dev update, the third area will either be finished or very close to finished. The final stretch of an area usually takes the longest, since that is where everything needs to come together properly, but I think it's possible.
I will not compromise on quality for the sake of speed, though.
The majority of the enemies are done, and the majority of the scenes are mostly done.
MUSIC SNEAK PEEK
As promised, here are a few sneak peeks from the soundtrack! I plan on showing more sneak peeks in more devlogs. Eric, who has been Astromeda's composer so far, unfortunately had an injury that has kept him from continuing work on the soundtrack.
Because of that, Bluco has joined as the game's composer! These sneak peeks are by him, and I'll make a more formal announcement about this in the future.
You can find the sneak peeks on the game's website:

MAIN ART UPDATE
Astromeda's main artwork has been updated, as you can now see on the game's Steam page!
The new art better represents the game's atmosphere, world, and the different areas.
And I just think it looks better!
Thank you for supporting Astromeda, and I will see you on the next development update! ❤️
