Update 2: Electric Boogaloo
Cool Stuff:
DIFFICULTY Overhaul:
Gameplay now features a 1:00 timer (for normal difficulty) in the bottom right of the HUD, each minute will tick and play a sfx to indicate the difficulty increasing. There are MULTIPLE tiers of difficulty that will be achieved as time goes on. Can you reach the Sun now?
Visual progress is added to really convey the anxiety of the galaxy starting to rise against you.
Enemies now have custom armor values assigned to them, Tanks has the most, Splitters have some, and Threats have negative!
Difficulty scales: Enemy Armor, Enemy Health, Enemy DAMAGE (Bullet and Contact), and Spawn Speeds.
Warden now spawns Bolters to assist in giving you a hard time.
SPAWN Waves Tweak:
Enemies still have choreographed spawn sets, but now with consistent spawn rates across all events. The spawn rates are effected by Enemy Swarm, and the new Difficulty Scaling.
WEAPON Highlighting:
Weapons now have a green glow in their weapon slots that get brighter and brighter until shooting. This should help convey weapon cooldowns from a bird's eye view.

HEALTH Decay:
Health now decays when above 150% Max Health: (10% of bonus health above Max)/s or 1/s, whichever is greater.
PASSIVE UX Changes:
Passives now clearly represent an Equip Selection versus and Upgrade Selection.
Passives now display their current level above the icon, and have had font size changes to represent information better.
WEAPON UX Changes:
Weapons now have a massive visual uplift when representing different quality types, returned to an old color scheme from a year prior.
TUTORIAL QoL:
Headhunter now has text representing.. the headhunter. Helping new players understand how weapon drops are achieved.
PAUSE Screen Changes:
Pause Screen now properly displays Max Health. The pause screen will be entirely overhauled in the next patch, so don't worry too much.
PLANET End SFX:
Removed my voice saying "nice" after each planet, instead replaced with two unique and randomly pitch shifted trumpet cheers. Should help avoid sfx burnout.
Fixes:
REPEATED Unlock Pop-ups:
No more "You've unlocked chemist! x5" in the death screen
TURBO Bar Depth:
Turbo now has the same 'depth' as health and ability, preventing instances where the player is hidden, and the turbo bar is the only visible thing. lol
WORLD Guardian Text:
Guardians now have static text locations, preventing the weird wobble effect when dying and moving the text with them.
DRAIN Damage:
Vampire's Drain has been tweaked to stop attacking the friggin' World Guardians when they're Roleplaying.. Come on...
MAGNET and Item Deletion:
When a World Guardian spawns, if a Magnet Power-Up is currently active, it will prevent XP Shards and Power-Ups outside of the camera view from being deleted, instead absorbing them normally.
Temporary Removal:
Player Size Passive has been temporarily removed for balancing purposes
Player Dodge Chance Passive has been temporarily removed for balancing purposes
