Hey Explorers!

We’re kicking off the Easter celebrations in Astrobotanica! We’ve prepared a few themed activities and added one of the features you’ve been asking for. On top of that, the game now includes Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese localizations. We also continue improving the experience on Steam Deck. More details below!

New Localizations

As promised, we’re introducing more language versions to Astrobotanica. This time, we’ve added Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. More languages are planned for the future!

Hidden Easter Eggs

We’ve hidden plenty of Easter Eggs throughout the game world. Revisit familiar locations to find them all and solve any remaining mysteries along the way!

Decoration: Easter Bunny

Once you’ve collected all Easter Eggs, a reward awaits - a new decorative item!

Skip Night Option

We hear you. Not everyone wants to explore the game world at night (or head into caves during that time), so we’ve added an option to skip this phase.

Steam Deck

This Easter patch also brings further improvements for Steam Deck. The game should now offer better performance, and we’re gradually preparing for full certification.

Easter Update 0.2.2 (all changes)

New Features

• Easter Event (April 2–13) A limited-time seasonal event is now live.

• Easter Eggs Hidden throughout the world. Collect them to earn Knowledge.

• Bush Bunny Decoration Unlock a new decorative item by gathering Easter Eggs.

• New Localizations Added Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese language support.

• Skip Night Mechanic You can now skip the night using the pilot chair on the spaceship.

• Keybind UI Improvements Custom keybinds are now correctly displayed in UI tooltips (tutorials still show default bindings for now).

• Gamepad Improvements Enhanced overall controller support.

• Steam Deck Optimization Improved performance and stability on Steam Deck.

Fixes & Improvements

• Achievements First Relic achievement can now be properly unlocked.

• Perks Fix Extra Pockets and Deep Storage now grant correct bonuses.

• Resolution Scaling Now functions correctly when using a gamepad.

• Item Duplication Fix Items crafted at the Worktable no longer duplicate via chests.
