Astral Arena changes
This update brings big changes to skills and combat: gone are the premade skills of old, in their place an exciting new SKILL CUSTOMISATION system allows you to add modules to skills, making them adaptive and varied! We've also added Engage & Disengage to how Astrals move in combat, which can be customised per skill! This and more !

Change Log 🆕 New Features and Additions
🆕 The Skill Builder: Win modules to buff, boost and build your own custom skills! Adjust things like, Astral movement, multiple shots at once or in sequence, add buffs, debuffs and status effects, and there MAY be lasers!
🆕 New Classic Roguelike Reward System: Rewards have been reworked to be more meaningful, choose from a selection of 3 rewards after each Challenger, and at the start of a new run you'll get to recover some lost items!
🎮 Gameplay Changes
🎮 Skill Unlocks: Skills are now progressed by upgrading them with modules you win from combat
🎮 Core Acquisition: Cores are now a reward type, meaning you can win them for free!
🎮 Challenger Rounds: Some challengers now require you to defeat them in multiple rounds without healing between fights! They offer more rewards in return!
🎮 The various shops are currently disabled, we plan on reintegrating them but for now they are at conflict with both the new skill builder system and the new rewards system
🎮 Balance Adjustments: Numerous tweaks to improve overall gameplay flow.
🔧 Bug Fixes
🔧 There were bugs with selecting enemy targets and player Astrals in 2v2+, now they are gone :) 🔧 The practice combat no longer causes fatal errors (Thankfully) 🔧 Various Fixes: Squashed several bugs to improve stability and game experience. Since we changed a lot of the game, many bugs simply are no longer relevant (Why fix a bug when you can just change the game? :) )
⚖️ Balance Changes
⚖️ The new Skills system has meant the enemies needed to learn to use the new skills, so we now have a procedural skill generator for the enemies to use, which scales with your progress ⚖️ Some Astrals have had their stats rebalanced ⚖️ Cores no longer scale with your wins, meaning early game Cores are more valuable than before ⚖️ Shiny odds reduced as they were very frequent
