Please find below the fixes and improvements included in this new demo update:
Combat/Gauntlet Parry
Successful perfect parries will now automatically snap the player to the enemy, ensuring counter-attacks land (provided the path is clear of obstacles).
Note
This feature is currently in development and undergoing further polish.
- Alternate World Crawling GiantImproved the creature's navigation and player detection. We also fixed how it deals damage to the player, which was previously inconsistent.
- Sacred Blue Fire StatuesRemoved the slow-motion effect when the fire hurts an enemy, as it was causing some issues. Additionally, this specific fire can now damage and burn the Crawling Giant if it is in close proximity.
- Enemy Appearance (WIP)Adjusted and updated some enemy textures and materials depending on the area they occupy, helping them blend into the environment better and improving overall visual readability.
- Dark Spawn Foe (WIP)Updated and improved its world movement, fixing an issue where it would occasionally bug out.
- Map Navigation (WIP)Improved and fixed a few problematic collision areas that were preventing the player and enemies from moving correctly.
Lighting/Shadows: Optimized shadow maps across all levels to improve GPU performance.
