Asteroid Boom Cosmic Courier changes
After a couple of lost days due national holydays here in my country, we are releasing what's promised.
Major feature."Final rescue platform"(We still haven't decided a name for it XD) this platform its the final place your space workers need to get on after delivering the antimatter device on the station. All this while running away from the blast of the chain reaction. Right now its pretty a simple structure, we are adding some love to it during the week. (Beacon type lights, internal "step here" indicators, and sounds)
Once Inside the platform walk to the central tower and you will be prompted to press "jump" to launch the platform, that's is.
This will immediately Finish the mission, and leave anyone outside killing them. If you are the first one (or the only one alive) , then only one "vote" its needed to launch the station.
BUT.... if another player enters the platform, then 2 votes are needed to launch, and so on. So if the players on the platform don't settle to launch before the blast reach them, the explosion will them.
This will lead to some situations where one part of the team want to wait the remaining players, while the blast its coming and others just want to get out not to loos their loot. And we will add ways to push your coworkers "accidentally" from the platform... Lets test some friendships!
This also applies if, for example one of the workers gets out of the platform to save a fellow coworker, one vote its subtracted and wont be needed to launch allowing the remaining players on the platform to abandon everybody else.
Its in this situations where the tractor beam its quite helpful accelerating your fellow coworkers up to 400kmph, if you are a good aim, my son's "counterstrike" aiming skill have saved me now more than once.
Volume and Look sensitivity sliders are now available on the main menu (they don't work yet with controls but with mouse are working fine. will fix that)
We changed a lot the control layout to allow you to accelerate and use the frontal trusters without releasing your right thumb form the stick.
We are beginning to work on the music, this should be simple but we want all the players to hear the same tracks as we want to change them later depending on the situation. So, be patient pls this will have a major impact on the feeling of the final stage of every game and we want to do it right.
The ex employees corpses are fully working now, you can check notes of how that works in the previous announced patches notes. But mainly you will be able to get medikits and batteries from them
