Hi AOP Players! We're pleased to deliver Game Update V.103 that brings a variety of fixes and improvements to the core gameplay. The most important addition to the game is that AOP now features Full Controller Support and should be easily playable on the Steam Deck ( Not yet verified though ).
Version 1.03 is now Live! Check out the Update List below to see the improvements and fixes we've added in V1.03.
Input and UI Improvements
Added Full Controller Support! You can now play Assault On Proxima with a Game Controller (Xbox Contoller). All game play actions are mapped to the controller and the game menus can be navigated using the controller and face buttons.
Significant improvements to Input Key and Controller Mapping User Interface. All game inputs are now fully mappable.
Added the Class Details panel to the Class Selection Menu which gives detailed information on each player class stats and abilities: Assault, Soldier, Recon and Medic.
Added Keyboard and Controller Default Layout Pages to Settings Menu.
Gameplay Improvements
The Player can now Aim Down Sights while in the air.
Gacrux aliens now "phase in" when spawning.
Explosive Barrels now trigger each other to create domino effect explosions.
Sound Improvements
Significant improvements and upgrades to gun weapon sound effects.
Campaign objective success sound effects have been added!
Lots of upgrades to environmental sound effects.
Gacrux aliens play a warning sound when they spawn to alert the player to the presence of new nearby enemies.
Improvements to enemy vocalisation distance fade.
Cool! We hope that players will enjoy the option to play Assault On Proxima with a game controller! And we hope that the new Character Class details panel gives players more insight into the available player classes. Most of all we hope you all continue to have fun in Assault On Proxima!
