  • Gameplay
changedDevelopment is moving full steam ahead, and I'm excited to say that many of the core systems planned for the 1.0 release are now implemented or nearing completion. This includes major gameplay features such as hostile survivor encounters, loot and scavenging systems, farming, animal raising, crafting, progression systems, quests, and much more.
addedA Much Larger Demo Is On The WayA brand-new demo is currently in development and will be significantly larger than anything I've shown before. I'm looking forward to giving players a much better look at the world, systems, and gameplay that Ashfield Hollow has to offer. I hope to time this with some upcoming festivals that, fingers crossed, Ashfield Hollow will be a part of.
addedNew ArtworkI've worked with an incredibly talented artist from Brazil, Luan Maximino, on brand-new artwork for the game, including a completely new Steam capsule. The new artwork better represents the game and, I hope, immediately conveys both the survival and life sim aspects of the game.

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since my last update so I wanted to take some time to share with everyone how things have been going and what you can expect in the very near future.

Development is moving full steam ahead, and I'm excited to say that many of the core systems planned for the 1.0 release are now implemented or nearing completion. This includes major gameplay features such as hostile survivor encounters, loot and scavenging systems, farming, animal raising, crafting, progression systems, quests, and much more.

With many of the foundational mechanics nearly in place, the next phase of development will focus heavily on world building and content creation. This means designing locations, expanding NPC dialogue, creating cutscenes, implementing storylines, and bringing the world of Ashfield Hollow to life.

Alpha Playtests Opening Soon

I'm preparing for the first round of alpha playtesting. This will be an opportunity for players to experience the game early and help shape development through feedback.

A Much Larger Demo Is On The Way

A brand-new demo is currently in development and will be significantly larger than anything I've shown before. I'm looking forward to giving players a much better look at the world, systems, and gameplay that Ashfield Hollow has to offer. I hope to time this with some upcoming festivals that, fingers crossed, Ashfield Hollow will be a part of.

New Artwork

I've worked with an incredibly talented artist from Brazil, Luan Maximino, on brand-new artwork for the game, including a completely new Steam capsule. The new artwork better represents the game and, I hope, immediately conveys both the survival and life sim aspects of the game.

Thank you for following the development of Ashfield Hollow. Your support, wishlists, feedback, and encouragement continue to help make this project possible.
