addedThe "widescreen" update has been completed and is now available on all servers. Every player can now manually set their game screen width from 15 to 25 tiles, while maintaining a maximum view distance of 14 tiles. Alongside this, the functionality of the stat panel and chat has been improved—they can now be moved across the screen, and you can adjust their size and transparency (both for the background and the text), or collapse them entirely. An auto-hide feature has also been added to the chat settings; it allows the chat to automatically hide after 5 seconds without messages and expand immediately when a new message appears (this works for categories selected in the current chat tab—i.e., if combat logs are disabled in the current tab and the character is hit, the chat will not automatically expand).
changedIn accordance with the widescreen update, many elements have been moved or duplicated from the chat into overhead text appearing above items and characters.
addedYou can now assign nicknames via SHIFT+RMB. Additionally, by hovering the cursor and holding SHIFT, you can perform a quick inspection of what a person is wearing (this feature is still being refined).
changedThe wound inspection for characters now features the same health doll used in the player interface. Inspection is performed by clicking RMB while standing directly next to another player—first a pulse check occurs, followed by the wound inspection.
addedAdded a new major location featuring its own unique artifacts and mutants.
addedThe water visuals have been significantly updated—depth and transitions are now smoother and easier to read; you can now see the bottom through the water, and reflections have been added.
