Patch v1.004:

Jumping, Gamepad, UI, and Dungeon bug fixes and improvements

Jumping:

  • Fixed bug where player could jump off in an unexpected direction at particular Jump sites, such as from the Hub's Atlas.

  • Jumps now activate automatically when clicked. It used to be that the character would path to the jump zone, and then you'd have to press interact again to actually jump. Now it's just one press and feels better imo.

  • The popup that let's you know you're in a Jump area now displays the right hotkey icon.

Gamepad:

  • Triggers should no longer fire off twice when they serve a duo-purpose. E.g. If a gear ability was set to Left Trigger + Right Trigger to activate, it would also activate a Strike (default Right Trigger) right after the other ability.

  • endgame-tips panel is now setup with Gamepad hotkeys.

  • Fixed issue where cursor would be restricted to the monitor's game window even when alt-tabbed or focused on a different monitor/window.

  • Waves Modeleaderboard hotkeys fixed.
  • Waves Mode: "Start Waves" panel now has gamepad hotkeys implemented.

  • Waves Mode: The "Waves Completed" panel now has Gamepad hotkeys implemented.

UI:

  • Tooltip displays have been improved with more room for certain large descriptions, and extraneous information removed, such as too many decimal place values showing.

  • Error catchingAn unexpected network error now automatically exits you back to the Title Screen so that the character can be properly reloaded. (Even though multiplayer is not yet available the infrastructure is already in place so a "Network Error" would currently just be a normal bug that tries to propagate on your local network.
  • UIAdded some more error-popups to explain invalid Augment configurations
  • UI: Loot chests now have proper mouse/gamepad hover popup

Dungeons:

  • The Mire's dungeon, "Beneath the Mire" starting area camera obstruction improved.

  • The Coast's dungeon, "The Quite Place", had lots of visual issues addressed, and the final boss animations and abilities were improved.

End Game:

  • Waves ModeThe Exit interactable is improved.
  • Freelance Mission Escort and Protect ally: ally moves faster, some escort destinations shortened.
