The Contact Rear challenge returns for the Steam Tower Defense Festival.

The leaderboard has been reset and a new competition begins.

Tower Defense Festival Competition (March 9–16)

Play the demo and compete to survive the longest.

  • Play the TD Festival map - Contact Rear

  • Enter Endless Mode

  • Survive as long as possible

  • Submit your score to the leaderboard

Important: To score higher, do not summon the extraction mothership right away. Stay in Endless Mode and survive as long as possible to push your score higher.

When the festival ends, the Top 3 players will earn a permanent place in the game credits as: Tower Defense Champions 2026

Strategy Decides Everything

In Artificial Extinction 2, survival isn't just about firepower. Players are already discovering extreme strategies — sniper turret kill zones, mech ambushes, and carefully timed defenses that completely change the outcome of a battle.
