Ark Odyssey changes
Welcome back to the monthly devs log! A lot happened these past weeks that I like to cover.
First off, the alpha demo is out and available! Which is a big achievement for me. While the game is pretty much unknown right now. We did get some players trying out the demo during the previous Steam event. Gain some traction and feedback, which is good. So try out the demo if you haven't yet!
Regarding feedback and demo, a new demo update should be out soon which will rework the entire interface!
Reworked Interface
The interface is one aspect of the game that goes through change the most and I feel this is the best one yet. I'm eager for your feedback on the new UX/UI!
Now for something big.
Ark of the Kosmoz will be doing a minor rebranding! Which will be renaming the game into *** ******* (Stay tuned for the reveal!) I also got some help from an artist and an editor in making a brand new key art and trailer!

And the real big thing.
Personality Core System
While still in the designing phase, this will be another major mechanic of the game. Thus, I'd like to put it out early to get some comments and feedback. This system can be unlocked from meta progression. Which will allow each Arkship to manifest a humanoid assistant to help in each mission.

The player will have main PC (Personality Core) from the Arkship they select and they can also select another PC from another Arkship as a support.
During combat, PC can activate their special ability on certain burst chains and will go into cooldown. These special abilities can range from providing buffs to ally units to damaging abilities.
(NOTE: You will also be able to see the PC portrait during the activation.)
Personality Core Constellation
This is another meta progression system that you can unlock after Personality Core. Which will allow the player to upgrade their main personality core constellation each run. Similar to skill-tree, PC constellation contains 3 different paths. At the end of each stage, the player will receive 1 skill point to put into the constellation.
Both Personality Core and Constellation systems aim to provide another form of progression mid-run that is more customizable and allows the player to shape their run without depending on luck. (And an excuse for me to put an anime girl in the game...) Things are going up and I love to keep this momentum going. All feedback and suggestions are appreciated as always.
