Area Zero v1.4.0 (04/15/2026)
Adrian added as playable character.
Increased damage for all normal attacks and universal grapple/throw attacks.
Increased activation window for manual parries from 2 to 4 frames.
Iterated on all character special attacks, emphasizing MEGA cancels (i.e. canceling one
special attack into an ex version of another special attack).
Added crumple hit response action. This action adds a 30 frame window for extending combos.
Revised combo scaling to act universally for all characters based on total damage of the combo.
Renamed B.P.V. to Violet (Y).
Iterated on Violet (Y)'s install super and all associated attack attributes. See advanced combo trials for example.
Revised the brother's puppet super.
a. The puppet brother's attacks are now manually initiated by the player by pressing the super
(Su) button.
b. The puppet brother now has hurt boxes and is vulnerable to attacks.
Revised Christopher's assist super with new assist attacks and attributes.
Added taunt counter to character vitals HUD.
Adjusted guard meter capacity and recovery rates for all characters.
Revised combo trials to accommodate changes to characters.
