Patch Notes v0.7.1
UI & Quality of Life
Added Modifiers tab to the Resource Tree UI to monitor global modifiers
Resource Tree UI is more performant and no longer cycles tabs with WASD
Added Notepad (default toggle with C) to keep track of in-game to-do lists
Building connections can now be inspected and edited via the new Control & Settings menu (gear icon, top right of UI); added loading screen tip about this
Market special sale info now appears at the top of the price list to prevent overlap with the Experiental Economics button
Leveling up a building while its UI is open now immediately refreshes available recipes
Power Generator power output UI now updates immediately after pasting upgrade settings
Spell selection indicator now only highlights buildings actually affected by the spell
Recipes are now sorted by display name rather than ID
Gameplay & Mechanics
Spells can now have resource costs as well (Mystical Enhancement now requires 10 Pure Essence; Arcane Manifestation costs 25 Arcane Crystal)
Added Vault Expansion as a new Level 8 spell, permanently increasing the stack multiplier of a Warehouse
Vegetation in inventory can now be right-clicked to be consumed for Mana
Improved XP scaling beyond Level 7
Tweaked weather probabilities
Critters
Added rare critter variants for bird, butterfly, fish, and snail
Rare variants award more credits/XP (White Crow updated accordingly)
Rare critters can award golden vegetation or Ancient Wisdom, depending on type
Total rare critters caught are now tracked in the journal
New objective: catch 1 rare critter for 1 skill point
Visuals & Aesthetics
Updated visuals for all fortifications
Tweaked daylight and golden hour aesthetics
Rare critter variants have an extra particle effect
Rain in top-down mode tweaked and now looks distinct from standard view
Performance & Stability
Minor performance improvements
Stronger crash guards when removing vegetation
Bug Fixes
Fixed L-curve drag placement locking in the wrong direction when curved early
Improved Elevator Bridge connections, preventing connection stealing from neighboring elevators
Fixed blueprints sometimes not instantiating saved recipes upon build
Fixed splitter not waking up after a power outage
Fixed rare occasion where buildings were stuck with a search highlight
