Academy Workshop: Can spawn on the world map and exchanges siege items and Ancient Wisdom for exclusive unlocks
Ancient Obelisks: Permanent structures in the world that provide local/global buffs upon fulfilling high-volume production orders
- Mana SpireNew building that reduces Mana consumption of nearby buildings with Pure Essence, unlocked via Academy Workshop

Mystic Wellsprings: Rare water bodies that reduce Mana consumption of nearby buildings
Lush Factories: Vegetation now slowly spawns around placed production buildings
Water Rocks: Rocks with surrounding lilypads now can spawn in the water as decoration

Quick-copy factory segments during blueprint select by holding Shift on release
World Generation & Map
New saves will place Act II resource nodes to ensure demo save compatibility with full game (existing saves are also made compatible, with at worst few individual buildings being displaced by the new nodes)
World generation now faster
Available world sizes increased (new default: 400x400)
Watch Towers more visible on world map
Creative mode now shows entire map without fog-of-war
Performance Improvements
Substantial performance improvements for large factories
More performant research tree updates when credits change while open
Optimized audio thread performance
More performant power system updates and area effect building updates to reduce lag spikes
World map now is more performant
Faster "exit game" for large sessions
Spells & Magic System
Mana Forge Aura: One of the Aura spells, which consumes more Mana but has 25% chance of not consuming inputs (unlocked by generating 50,000 Mana)
Potion brewing can now be cancelled with ingredient refund
Teleport spell skips execution if no resources to transfer
Research & Progression
Research progression is now better gated via requirements
Fixed missing connection lines for some research items
Power Generator can now be in-place replaced with Generator Mk2
Market selling-for-XP mode unlocked via Academy Workshop
Made Production Chain objective more lenient against intervening Splitters
Power Spire buffed from 25% to 30% power reduction
UI/UX Improvements
Building Settings Copy/Paste: Use Shift+C to copy and Shift+V to paste settings between buildings
Build Menu Search Bar to filter build menu
Resource tree tab added to calculate and display breakdown of power and Mana generation/consumption
Storage icons limited to max 5 in production building UI with "+X more" indicator
Fixed shown progress shown on potion brewing objectives
Styled scrollbars in popup menu theme
Right-click building context menu now prevented when UI overlay active
Error messages now show current count when insufficient keys/siege items
Added Power Generator hint to tooltip of Coal etc
Gameplay Mechanics & Balance
Byproduct System Overhaul: Slag and Cinder can no longer be sold, must be processed
Byproducts now longer show value in tooltips or Market table
Chest Respawning: Chests using keys now have 5% probability of respawn
Special vegetation (mushrooms, etc.) can now also be found in chests and traveling merchants (biased by biome)
Traveling merchants can now offer permanent max Mana increase as rewards
Traveling merchants now only offer recipes with unlocked requirements
Resources from merchants/crates now choose empty warehouses with matching visual labels if no started stack available
Miner output tuned for high richness nodes (>200): transition from linear to square root scaling
New alternate recipe to produce Advanced Machinery in gold chest pool
Infused Ingots, Alchemical Key Crafting, and Bulk Components recipes slightly buffed
Specialized Components research no longer interferes with Assemblers set to different recipes
Bug Fixes
Fixed Mana calculation sometimes briefly wrong after loading save
Correctly save/load Elevator, Splitter, and Merger resources
Fixed Power Generator not saving/loading backup fuel stock
Fixed bug during load if blueprint assigned to hotkey bar
Fixed crash when canceling blueprint placement immediately after placement
Fixed drag-placement bug where only curve+Merger didn't build the curve
Fixed belt flow arrow height during placement preview of bridge belts
Fixed playtime not resetting when starting new session from existing session
Fixed hover height of siege item icon for Architect Pyramid
Misc
New loading screen tips: Conveyor Efficiency research, processing byproducts, building side flexibility, copy/paste settings
New tutorials added for first Academy Workshop interaction & Obelisk encounter
New objective series for activating Obelisks
Dynamic FPS protection now even better
Shadow offset tweaked to avoid peter panning
Glow blend mode switched to softlight for better visuals
