Player Loadout and Trait System ◦ Pick your loadout before starting a run ◦ Loadouts determine the number of active and passive spells ◦ Loadouts have unique traits unlocking different playstyles ◦ Each loadout is distinguished by different items on your back ◦ 7 different loadouts currently created, with more to come • Player Leveling System ◦ Earn XP in runs to level up ◦ Leveling up yields rewards such as artifacts, Arcane Crystals, reserve spell slots, and cosmetics • Arcane Crystals ◦ A permanent currency used to unlock new loadouts ◦ Acquired by progressing in runs and via rare crystal rocks • Player Character Customization ◦ Customize Hats, Hair, Face, Beard, and Outfit • Settings menu overhaul with new gameplay options ◦ Toggles for showing various information on HUD (inventory, stats, etc) ◦ Toggles for showing popup numbers/texts ◦ Screenshake toggle • New Spell: Coldfront (passive) • New Spell: Lightning Orbs (passive) • New Spell: Arctic Beam • New Artifact: Panic Button • New Artifact: Discount Card • New Artifact: Stressbelt • New Artifact: Weightbelt • New Enemy: Spike dropping mini cactus • New in run shop item: Blood for Gold • New Crit sound effect • Added a new Mystical Forest map variation (holes) • Added a feature to show spells in fullscreen mode when clicked in spellbook • Added popup numbers for picking up XP and Gold • Added a "NEW" indicator to show newly unlocked spells • Added an outline on arena edges that shows when close ◦ Makes it easier to see the playable area • Dash rework that supports multiple charges ◦ With a visual indicator when ready • Run over screen overhaul ◦ XP/level progression showcase ◦ Spell mastery progression showcase ◦ Loadout and inventory information ◦ New and future unlocks information
