Arcade Management Simulator changes
This update marks a big step forward for Arcade Management Simulator Demo. Patch 0.4.0 introduces the long-awaited Recruitment System and delivers a large batch of fixes, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback.

You can now recruit employees to help manage your arcade!
Employees can assist with:

This is the foundation for deeper automation and management systems coming soon, and more employee roles and behaviors will be added in future updates.
🛠️ Fixes, Improvements & Balance Changes
🎮 Machines & Gameplay
Fixed Gacha Machine breaking when moved from top to floor and back.
Fixed balls/toys falling out of Gacha Machines.
Fixed Claw Machine & Gacha interaction issues after repositioning.
Fixed NPCs playing Gacha/Claw machines and immediately redeeming tickets.
After ticket redemption, the player now returns to idle state correctly.
Fixed Claw & Gacha machines resetting coin collection and repair state after boxing up.
Machines with refills inside (Capsule Spinner, Claw, Vending) can no longer be boxed up.
Tooltip added: “Only empty machines can be boxed up.”
Fixed Vending Machine showing 0/30 sodas after moving it.
Fixed Tropical Racing & Dance Machine cleaning progress bar blur.
Fixed Dance Machine NPC interaction after moving the machine.
Fixed NPCs walking through machines placed in the center.
Removed NPC collision entirely for smoother crowd flow.
Extended counter table interaction area so customers don’t line up in front of machines.
Fixed NPCs standing idle after store upgrades while playing machines.
Fixed NPCs walking into future store expansion areas (Level 2 vs Level 3).
🧾 Pricing, Economy & Balance
Store upgrades are now more expensive to better reflect progression.
Fixed Claw Toy pricing not syncing between Pricing App and Set Price window.
Fixed Pricing App label updates not reflecting correctly.
Fixed Regular shipping fee.
Fixed licenses not resetting properly on New Game (no longer requires pressing twice).
Fixed Continue button being active when no save file exists.
🎨 Customisation & Visuals
Fixed customisation floor shader animation, now correctly timed after closing tablet.
Fixed lighting issues:
Light switch not responding.
Over-bright lighting on Paw & Claw machines.
Reduced lighting intensity on higher-level upgrades.
Added 2 new wall décor items.
Fixed storage expansion walls & floors not reflecting selected materials.
Fixed Level 1 storage room door not functioning.
Fixed highlight materials on Ninja Fighter, Paw & Claw, and Robot Revolt.
📦 Storage & Shelving
Fixed Storage Shelf label quantities after save/load.
Improved top-shelf interaction for retrieving and placing items.
Fixed Display Shelf interactions when holding boxes.
Fixed claw toys disappearing from storage after save/load.
Fixed storage expansion visuals not updating correctly.
📚 Tutorials & UX
Added Skip Tutorial option.
Disabled all tutorials after Day 1, even if incomplete.
Fixed tutorials reappearing on Day 2.
Fixed random tutorial popups after renaming the store.
Fixed machine placement being locked to tutorial green area after skipping steps.
Improved coin collection tutorial messaging and popup timing.
Fixed Set Price UI alignment (especially on first use).
Fixed Pricing App closing tablet when clicking near edges.
Fixed Pause Menu breaking when pressing Tab.
Fixed instruction GIFs not closing when advancing to next day.
Fixed collection app unlocking all claw toys randomly.
💾 Save / Load & Stability
Fixed New Game reset logic:
Old PlayerPrefs are now cleared correctly (except settings).
Wallpapers & floors reset immediately and reflect in gameplay.
Fixed Renovation App progress not persisting after save/load.
Added Fade-to-Black transition when returning to Main Menu.
Improved precaching to reduce stutters during gameplay.
