Arcade Management Simulator changes
We’re back with Patch v0.3.3, focusing on gameplay balance, tutorial improvements, and bug fixes to make managing your arcade smoother and more intuitive. This update also expands your arcade growth system with new store expansions, progression tweaks, and refined machine interactions.
✨ New & Updated Features
🎡 Capsule Spinner Machines Added!
Capsule Spinner now includes both stackable and stand variants.
Tutorial updated with the prompt: “Press E on the Capsule Spinner.”
Added license prices for stackable capsule spinners (no longer shows 0.00).
🏪 Store Expansion Progression Updates
Store Expansion 2 unlocks at Level 4 – Cost: $1000
Store Expansion 3 unlocks at Level 8 – Cost: $1500
Storage Expansion now unlocks at Level 10 – Cost: $800
💡 Lighting System Improvements
Store lights now automatically switch off at the end of the day.
Adjusted light switches to avoid clipping through doors.
Fixed lighting intensity on Paw & Claw, Ninja Fighter, and Robot Revolt machines.
🏷️ Gameplay Adjustments & Additions
Added note to the Bills System – bills now accumulate for 7 days and auto-pay if left unpaid.
Later customizations (floors and walls) are now more expensive to reflect progression.
Reduced Paw and Claw Machine price to $10.5, aligning closer to the Gacha Machine.
Pixel Punch Hero now unlocks at Level 3.
Collect Coins Tutorial updated:
Added clear instruction: “Click and hold left-click (use mouse icon) on the green highlight to collect coins.”
Added a new popup explaining that exclamation marks indicate machines with coins to collect. This popup stays on screen briefly before fading out.
Machines now automatically face the player when placed, making alignment easier.
🧩 Fixes & Improvements
Fixed “Name Your Store” appearing at the bottom of the map – it now only appears when the player points at the sign above.
Fixed Set Price text field alignment (was misaligned when opened for the first time).
Fixed default prize values that had changed unexpectedly.
Fixed claw machine toy behavior – toys no longer fall when moving the machine or pressing [c]Q[/c].
Fixed tutorial persistence after Day 1 – tutorials now correctly disable even if incomplete.
Fixed broken Gacha Standing Machine tutorial sequence.
Fixed Day 2 tutorial reappearing even after being skipped or left incomplete.
Fixed random tutorial pop-ups appearing mid-game after renaming the store (linked to new coin collection popup).
Fixed NPCs walking through walls, each other, and arcade machines.
Fixed NPCs freezing after upgrading the store while they were playing a machine.
Fixed collision detection for NPCs and machines.
Fixed “Facing Entrance” ticket counter issue where hands clipped behind the monitor.
Reduced interaction distance for the Open/Close Sign.
Fixed Claw Machine having very low player activity — more customers will now interact with it!
Fixed Store Upgrade Customization showing as selected but not visually applied.
Fixed New Game resets not reflecting wall and floor materials immediately — they now update right away.
Fixed material resets and applied the correct default floor and wall textures at New Game start.
Fixed machine highlight material inconsistencies.
Added Buy button SFX in the Customization screen.
Close GIF Instruction automatically when the player advances to the next day.
Fixed purchase screen bug where “Regular” shipping option was charging incorrectly.
Fixed auto light switch-off behavior not triggering after end-of-day in some cases.
Fixed Name Board behavior when editing mid-game.
Disabled Recruitment System (in development).
Improved NPC walk speeds and interactions for smoother traffic flow.
Improved machine placement behavior in tutorials – now consistent even when skipping steps.
Fixed capsule spinner stacking visual alignment and pricing UI.
Fixed store name input pop-up appearing unexpectedly during mid-game.
Fixed Store Upgrade preview wall misalignment after Storage Expansion.
Improved store lighting balance across upgrade levels.
Fixed precaching issues that caused small hitches when loading large textures.
