Steam Next Fest Demo Available

We have some amazing news to share: The Aquapark Tycoon Next Fest Demo is now available!

Update: The Demo is now live for everyone!

How to get the demo: To get access to the demo, please follow the following steps:

1. Download the Aquapark Tycoon Demo.

2. In your Steam library, right-click "Aquapark Tycoon Demo" and select "Properties."

3. Under "Game Versions & Betas", select the " steam-next-fest Steam Next Fest Demo" branch.

Please note: The Steam Next Fest demo is currently on a special branch and will be set live on Monday before the festival starts. Please keep in mind that, if you prefer not to opt into the Steam Next Fest Demo branch, the current default demo is a little outdated.

Patch Notes

There are a great many things that have been improved with the new demo, and we're listing the biggest changes here, since otherwise the list would get a little too long.

Gameplay

• Improvements to the look and feel of the game

• Many improvements to guest behavior

• Added optional side goals that pop up from time to time

• Guests now carry bags and want to stash them before going swimming

• Improved placing of new objects

• Made more objects accessible before researching luxury tier I

• Improved the usability of the infusion mixer window

• Improved usability of placing lane lines in sports pools (you can now click-drag)

• Added different weather types: Nice, Cloudy, Wind, Sunny

• Added slide painting & customisation

• Added new slide exits that land in a plunge pool

• Added a pipette tool to duplicate objects

• Added aroma and audio track combos that can be found when mixing infusions

• Improved feedback for entrance fee pricing

• Added a setting to allow only swimmers in a slide

Visuals

• Added round slide supports that go in circles

Co-op Multiplayer

• Added Co-Op Multiplayer

• You can now start a session together with friends

• You can either join in-game, local network, or through your Steam friend list

• Added a chat window

• Added holograms and mouse pointers of other players for a nicer experience

UI

• Updated the Park Management Window with a new layout

• Updated Slide, Pool, Sauna, etc. windows with a new layout

• Updated the build windows with a new layout

  • Added more info for saunas, slides and pools in their windows

• Added an option to select Fahrenheit as a temperature unit

• Updated the slide building UI

• Added possibility to have a software mouse cursor

• Infusions can now be mixed from the build window

Sound

• Updated several sound effects

• Added new sound effects

Performance:

• Improved performance in many cases

Twitch Integration

• Added Twitch integration to have viewer names as guest names with little name tags

• Fixed several crashes

• Fixed long lag when auto-saving
