A lot of things have been tweaked and improved in this update regarding user experience and UI design. We finally got rid of multiple placeholders, adding improved UI windows and assured easier navigation overall. Next to visual improvements we also balanced the amount of items which results in smoother and more fluent gameplay.

This update is the bridge to another awesome update! We are currently working out new side quests and we are also moving forward with the main story which includes new characters, new items to collect and many other cool stuff!

Check out the list below to see what comes with this update:

Quest Log Window

Instead of the Quest Tracker window that was appearing on the right side underneath the Minimap you can now open a Quest Log window (check Controls for input) where you can see a list of your accepted quests as well as their objectives.

Zoomed in Minimap & Pick Up Items Design

The Minimap is more zoomed in giving you a better overview about what's directly around you. Picked up items now appear in the bottom right corner. Up to 3 items can be simultaneously displayed.

Treasure Chest Design

We removed the placeholder pop up window that appeared when you opened treasure chests and added a simple open chest animation. Additionally chest icons now disappear on the Minimap and on the World Map.

Improved UI Design

In general we improved a lot of elements on the UI, making them more visually appealing and easier to navigate with. It is important to say that most of the UI elements are still just placeholders and soon we will release an update with the real Menu.

Take a look at the original Menu here:

Toggle HUD

You can now hide and unhide all UI elements by pressing "H" on the keyboard and "D-Pad Left" on gamepad.

BUG FIXES

Fixed

Some rocks appeared blurry or appeared too late.

Fixed

Controls Menu showed wrong input.

Fixed

Some NPCs didn't appear when they should and others appeared too early.

Fixed

Picking up loot from enemies with gamepad sometimes locked the player from drinking potions.

Other corrections: typos and misleading dialogues have been corrected.

This update allows us to finally move forward with the main story and add new quests to the game! As we have fixed crucial bugs and logic errors that made quest creation a little difficult we can now get to the interesting stuff again!

Stay tuned for the next update!
