changedRecently, enthusiastic players provided feedback about performance issues, which led me to deeply consider and experiment with various solutions. Ultimately, I found optimization methods and applied them to the game. These changes significantly reduce CPU load.
addedThis update introduces a self-exploding zombie. It doesn’t add much difficulty to the early game, and its spawn is random.
fixedI noticed an issue with the item filtering system during gameplay. When purchasing items at the camp, the filtering function would mistakenly filter out purchased items and leave them floating in the air, resulting in a poor experience. I’ve fixed this issue by disabling item filtering within the camp. It sounds simple, but as a solo developer, this problem gave me quite a headache before I finally found the right solution.
fixedSome zombies were getting stuck at walls and not moving. I’ve addressed this issue with optimizations in this update.
addedThese are the contents of this update. I’m currently considering player suggestions regarding spawn mechanics and thinking about how new monsters and spawn methods can combine to create a tense and exciting experience. I hope to showcase these in the next update or sometime in the future.
