Another feature update has released, focusing on one of my long term goals, multiplayer! Also including Respawning, Death Fixes, Spectating, Fixes, and More. Here's some more info:
Multiplayer I'm excited to announce Apocalypse now has multiplayer for the first time in 2 years! Play as groups of 2 fighting against AI with any mix of map or modes currently available to singleplayer. Hosting servers requires no knowledge of servers, IP address's, and there's no costs. Joining servers is easily done with the Server Browser too. Everything is handled through Steam by default, however you can still connect to servers directly if not. Available to all players via a Free Content Update!
and Much More! Not only are these changes being added, but there's also heaps of bug-fixes and features I've added from the community discussion. This includes Aiming Fixes, AK Red Dot Alignment, Spawning Fixes, and much more! See the changelog below, also available in-game:
Gameplay Additions
Multiplayer has been added - Spectating has been added - Respawning has been added
Gameplay Changes
Death animations have been fixed - Death transition is now much better - Aiming with Red Dot increases Field of View - Backpack and pouch model added to player
Gameplay Fixes
Spawning waves only works under 20 seconds - AK Red Dot position has been corrected - All Red Dot's are now more transparent - Bizon Red Dot no longer recieves decals
Crash Fixes
Crash Popup has been enabled - 5 Broken achievements removed - Achievement 'Weapons - Galil' added - Achievement 'Welcome!' has been fixed - Crash upon spawning has been fixed
