Howdy howdy, back so soon but also like a day or so late with this. Just wanted to recap on the launch of the demo, how it went and Next Fest. I'll have more updates on what's coming next and the exciting things to look forward to in a future post.
Stats are cool, over 6,000 players have come through to play the demo, Wishlists have more than doubled to now 13,000! Somehow over 500 of you have played for more than 3 hours, like stop! It's only a demo! Overall I couldn't be happier with the response, 10k before Next Fest was a pipe dream goal I wasn't really sure could be reached, but here we are after lingering around 2,000 last month.
How did we get here? Thanks to some fantastic coverage from media and content creators. Getting the demo trailer on IGN was an unexpected treat.
Joel Vargskelethor of Vinesauce had a fun stream. Having Joel play made some waves in the Discord as the community overlap here is massive and Vinesauce had some diehard fans already invested in this game.
Nyanners also checked it out, VOD below. And so did a handful of others like Mynthos!
Very recently a bit of attention over on Twitter from Japanese accounts Godaka and Denfami got some much appreciated traffic this way just before Next Fest started too.
Now with Next Fest here, I'm excited to see more players come through and enjoy the demo! If you've played already and want to help in any way the best thing you can do is let some friends know about it. Any bit of word of mouth is truly appreciated.
