Anomaly Tracking

The anomalies that you have correctly spotted will now persist between runs until you have correctly spotted them all! That way you do not need to see the same anomalies again just to have the slight chance of seeing the ones you missed.

When you have seen them all, the counter will reset and you will be able to see them all again using the same persistence system.

In multiplayer, the host will decide which anomalies are shown, but players joining will still gain progression from what they see from the host match!

Respawn System

With games potentially dragging out for longer now due to last patches introduction of anomaly spotting, a method to get back into the game in co-op mode has been added.

On death, the player will need to wait for the rest of the team to guess a certain number of stations correct before they will respawn. Each death will lead to longer respawn time, however. So becareful not to die too many times! You might miss the exit.

Voice & Player Visibility Fixes

I have made a pass over the player handling as it was causing certain players to not be heard and turn invisible at random to certain other players. This one is finnicky however, so it may still occur in different ways.

Miscellaneous Bug Fixes

Additionally, I have added to areas that had gaps in regards to accommodating the new spotting system. As sometimes they would come out as wrong, when they should not have due to weird hitbox calculations.

Known Issues

There is a low chance that restarting the match will not respawn some players due to some unknown specific cases. If this occurs, you should still respawn after the next station. If the players that did respawn are able to make it.

Let me know if this is an ongoing issue for you.

Thank you to those who voiced their concerns on the areas of the game that needed to be addressed! These changes are a response to you!

As always, reach out on the forums or the Discord if there is an issue! My testing can only get so far for all these new changes.

See you in the next one! ExamlGuy
