Important Test Notice

Account Access

This Alpha Test supports Facebook or Google login only. You must log in using the same Facebook or Google account used when completing the Alpha Test survey.

First-Device Binding

Your account will be tied to the very first PC you use to log in to the game. Unbinding or switching devices is not supported. Please decide on your primary testing device before installing and logging in for the first time.

Minimum Specs Check

Please note that this Alpha Test includes a minimum specs check. Devices below the requirement may be unable to launch the game. If you encounter a hardware-related warning during login, it means your current device does not meet the minimum requirements. In such cases, please review the Recommended Specs above and consider switching to a compatible device.

How to Check Your Status:

Method 1: Email Notification

We will send an official notice to the email address provided in your survey.

Note: Please check your"Promotions"or"Spam"folders if you don’t see it in your Inbox.

Method 2: Official Website

Visit the Alpha Test Access Check page. Log in using the same Facebook or Google account you used for the sign-up survey.

Device Preparation

Before installing and logging in, please ensure:

• At least 15 GB of available storage (additional buffer recommended)

• Windows and GPU drivers are updated to the latest version

• Stable internet connection (wired or high-quality Wi-Fi recommended)

• Avoid heavy network tasks (cloud sync, uploads, etc.)

• Close high-resource background programs (recording software, overlays)

• Keep your device connected to power during download and installation

How to Activate on Steam

Method 1: Activate via Steam Client (Recommended)

1 Open the Steam client and log in to your account

2 Click “Games” in the top menu

3 Select “Activate a Product on Steam…”

4 Click “Next” and accept the agreement

5 Enter your CD Key

Method 2: Activate via Steam Web

1 Visit https://store.steampowered.com/

2 Log in to your account

3 Go to"Account Details"

4 Select"+ Add funds to your Steam Wallet"

5 Select"Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code"

6 Enter your CD Key

After Activation

Please note:

1 The game will NOT be visible in your Steam Library until the Playtest download begins. If you see the message “Activation Successful: Animula Nook Playtest” or "Success!"after using your CDK, itconfirms that the activation has been completed successfully.

2 Once the Playtest download opens, refresh your Library to confirm the game is visible in your Library. If not so, check “Library – All Games” or manually search for the title.

3 Click “Install” to begin download.

Wait until the server opens. The game will only be accessible after that time.

FAQ

Q1: How many devices can I use?

Your account will bind to the first PC used during the test. Device switching is not supported.

Q2: What if the download or installation fails?

1 Check network stability and storage space, and disable VPN or network accelerators.

2 In Steam: Right-click the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files

3 Disable VPN or network accelerators and try again

4 If unresolved, please go to the official Discord server (Animula Nook), and submit your issues in related channels (#alpha-bug-report or #alpha-helpdesk).

Additional Notes

Account & Key Security

Account sharing, CD Key trading, or distribution of unofficial installation packages is strictly prohibited.

Please safeguard your account credentials and CD Key.

Do not trust any third-party key resellers, installation package distributors, or account-sharing offers.

Network & VPN

VPNs or network acceleration tools may interfere with activation. If you encounter activation issues, please disable them and try again.

If the issue persists, please submit a report via the official Discord #alpha-bug-report channel.

Installation & Device Status

Please ensure your device remains powered on and does not enter sleep mode during download and installation.

Close any high-resource background applications (screen recording tools, overlays, etc.) before launching the game.

Library Display

If the game does not appear in your Library after activation, check “Library – All Games” or manually search for the title.
