Animalia Survival changes
Update 164.0 - Steam Old Version(Default). Update 164.0 - Testpublic. Update 138.0 - Crossplayer
Steam post image REMOVAL OF THE CHRISTMAS SLEIGH
We inform all players that the Christmas sleigh, which used to fly over the game map at 00:00 (midnight), has been removed from the server.
This removal marks the definitive end of the Christmas special content, allowing the map to return to its default state and be prepared for future updates.
Steam post image NEW DAMAGE SYSTEM – ALL ANIMALS
We are implementing a new damage system that introduces a temporary delay after an animal receives an attack.
This system was initially applied to the Barbarian Lion and the Cheetah, and has now been expanded to more animals in the game.
🔹 How the system works
When an animal is hit, it triggers a damage animation, causing a temporary delay in actions such as:
New attacks
Immediate movement
Instant reactions
The goal is to bring more realism to combat, simulating the real physical impact animals suffer during confrontations.
🔹 About the delay
This delay is not a bug. It is part of the new system and represents the effect of pain after receiving damage.
🔹 Current implementation and exceptions
The system is already active in several animals. However, damage animations are not yet implemented for the following animals:
Crocodile
Shoebill
Vulture
These animals will receive the animations in future updates, along with the full expansion of the system.
SKIN ADJUSTMENTS – LION, ZEBRA AND LEOPARD
Important adjustments have been made to the Lion, Zebra, and Leopard skins, focusing on damage effects and interaction with the climate system.
🔹 Damage visual system adjustments

🔹 General improvements

Overall improvement in visual quality during gameplay and animations
These changes are part of our ongoing effort to improve visual polish and realism and will be gradually implemented across other animals in Animalia Survival.
