American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer changes
👉 Follow our Kickstarter and help unlock some free digital goodies before the campaign launches!
HOWDY!
We’ve got some exciting news: we’re launching a Kickstarter soon to support the development of American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer!
Why a Kickstarter?
We’ve been working on American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer since March 2025. In that time, we’ve been funding everything ourselves with no grants or sales (the singleplayer is free, after all). Just student budgets, side jobs, and a lot of late nights.
We’ve come a long way and made a ton of progress already, but our savings are running low. We’re confident we can make ACS:M the best it can be if we can focus on it full-time for a while.
So for this final stretch, we’re asking for your help. 💚
What’s the goal of the Kickstarter?
Our funding goal will be fairly low (at least as low as it can be for a small team like us), but enough to finish a small, polished version of American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer with one full region containing 8–10 levels.
Of course, we also have bigger dreams:
More regions
A VS mode
Deeper customization
…and other cool ideas.
We’ll talk more about those in the coming weeks, but they’ll be treated as stretch content, not “you only get a game if we hit everything.”
What if the Kickstarter doesn’t reach its goal?
Good question.
Even if the Kickstarter fails, we still plan to finish American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer in a satisfying way. It’ll just take us longer, because we’ll have to go back to working on it on the side.
So the game will still come out at some point. We just won’t be able to say when.
Also important: On Kickstarter, you only get charged if the campaign reaches its funding goal. If we don’t hit it, you’re not charged at all.
What if I don’t have money to back?
Totally fair. And you can still help a lot without spending a single dollar! đź’š
You can support us by joining our Community Achievements. They include little goals like:
Following the Kickstarter page
Wishlisting the game on Steam
Joining our Discord Server
Following us on Social Media
Sharing the game with friends who might like chaotic co-op stuff
To start with, if we unlock five Community Achievements before the campaign launches, we’ll add a limited Early Bird tier where you can get a game key with 20% off.
Every little bit does help!
Did you say Discord server? đź‘€
Yes! We’ve set up a brand-new Community Discord Server!
In there, we'll share:
Weekly dev updates
Screenshots and clips of what we're working on
Weekly activities and challenges
And stuff related to the upcoming multiplayer demo
Come hang out, yell about burnt burgers, and help us shape the game. 🔥🍔
A demo?! 🎮
Yep! We’ll be participating in Steam Next Fest (23rd February) with a public demo of American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer, so you can finally experience for yourself what we’ve been cooking up.
Don’t forget to wishlist the game to get notified once the demo drops! (It’ll most likely go live a few days before Steam Next Fest starts.)
Lastly, thank you all so much for your support so far. It’s been a wild couple of months, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
See ya soon!
