🚑 Ambulance Life is finally here! A huge thank you for all your feedback. Your input helps us improve the game, and thanks to it, we’re bringing you the first patch.
The team has been working hard to deliver a first patch addressing key issues. This patch brings significant improvements to gameplay, visuals, and overall performance. We've improved emergency callouts, improved patient interactions, and made the experience smoother and more immersive...
TL;DR
Performance & Stability - Updated XeSS & DLSS settings, enabled ray tracing with Lumen, and optimized game performance.
Gameplay Adjustments - Added and updated gunshot callouts, deactivated cactus collision, and adjusted pedestrian/traffic density across all quality settings.
Medical System Tweaks - Replaced Epinephrine with Saline in shock treatment, added penalties for untreated patients, and improved diagnosis progression.
New Features - Introduced an auto-benchmark button to adjust the graphics settings to your PC performance and a Triage Tag Guidance Widget.
UI & Accessibility - Improved handbook readability, UI scaling, and sound feedback when interacting with menus.
AI & Dialogue - Reduced repetitive partner dialogue, improved patient conversations, and fixed lip sync issues.
Visual Enhancements - Lighting improvements, optimized smoke effects, prettier fountain water, and fixed floating objects.
Bug Fixes - Fixed disappearing bite marks, misplaced NPCs, incorrect animations, and patient repositioning issues.
Collision & Environment Fixes - Adjusted collisions for trees, traffic lights, wooden planks, and vehicles to prevent glitches.
Crash Fixes - Addressed crashes related to callouts, menu interactions, and world assets to improve game stability.

Gameplay Improvements:
Added additional gunshot callout in D2
Added new gunshot callout in D3
Updated gunshot callout D2
Deactivated cactus collision
Decreased pedestrian density for all quality settings: Low 0.5->0.2, Medium 0.75->0.45, High 1.0->0.7, Ultra 1.3->1.0
Decreased traffic density for all quality settings: Low 0.5->0.25, Medium 0.75->0.5, High 1.0->0.75, Ultra 1.3->1.0
Prevented the bitemarks from magically disappearing when the snake venom is treated.
Replaced Epi with Saline in the Shock treatment
The Patient protocol doesn't spoil the callout type any more
Added an auto benchmark button to adjust the graphics settings your PC performance
Reduced the rate at which your partner tells you to hurry up
Opened up the level in tutorial area
Added Triage Tag Guidance Widget
Filtering out duplicate evidences in handbook pages
Removed collision from wooden planks used on path ways on the beach to fix collision issues with the stretcher on it
Diagnosis entries now match player progress
Added Penalties if the patient is admitted untreated
Added rewards and penalty for life saving measures

Disabled saving (except autosaves) during introductory callout
Enabled text wrapping on handbook elements
Made fog invisible if map is open
Added missing video settings
Tweaks for UI scaling
Added ViewDistance, PostProcess and Texture Quality settings to settings menu.
Fixing the partner not having lip sync in some instances
Improved patient dialogues in some callouts
UI sound improvements
integrated Softer UI SFX for hovering over/confirming buttons

Blocking triage package from being opened during transitions
Deleting duplicated foliage in D1
Made Dispatch Calls also react to game paused
