Always Bet on Quack changes
One of the most important parts of Always Bet on Quack isn’t a specific game, it’s the casino itself!
The Monte Quacko isn’t just a menu where you pick blackjack or roulette. We wanted to build it as a full social hub, inspired by Super Caesers Palace (Shoutout to the panel on gambling in video games at MAGFest 2026, you really inspired us!) It is somewhere players can wander the floor, gather around tables, and experience the chaos of casino night together.
So when we started designing the casino, we looked to the real world for inspiration.
For a long time, casino design followed a very different philosophy. In the 1990s especially, many casinos were built with the idea that every possible inch should be filled with gambling machines. The thought was that if people are surrounded by gambling, they’ll want to gamble more and more.
But the casinos that inspired Monte Quacko follow a different approach.
Places like the Bellagio, The Wynn, and ARIA focus on creating an experience first. These casinos are designed to feel grand and welcoming, with open space, strong themes, and carefully planned layouts that make walking through the building feel like part of the entertainment.
That philosophy had a huge influence on how we built The Monte Quacko.
Instead of packing the casino wall to wall with tables and machines, we designed it as a colorful, themed space players can explore. Wide walkways, bright lighting, and playful décor make the casino feel lively and energetic while still giving players room to gather around games and socialize.
The goal is for Monte Quacko to feel like a real destination, just full of ducks.
One of our favorite spaces inside the casino is the Quack Pack Theatre, inspired by classic Las Vegas showrooms like the legendary Copa Room. In old Vegas, these theaters hosted legendary performers and variety shows, bringing music and entertainment directly into the casino experience.
Our version carries that same spirit, but with a slightly more feathered twist.
Monte Quacko is still growing as we continue development, and we’re always adding new little details and spaces throughout the casino floor.
Because in the end, the casino itself is part of the game.
And we hope when players walk through those doors, it feels like they’ve stepped into a place worth exploring.
