Weapon upgrades are plentiful and full of vibrant neon-illumination, especially when combining several simultaneously. There are enormous screen-filling Boss Fights that really amp up the challenge, as well as a variety of random encounters that catch you off-guard by switching up the gameplay. Roguelite elements are also present, with the player’s performance in a run being rewarded with buffs for the next one. Enormous boss fights, co-op chaos, and insane challenges await

[United Kingdom] 11th November 2025 - Ben Lowther-Saul (a solo Indie Game Developer using the studio name ‘ digiggle Games ’) is delighted to confirm that their neon-coated love letter to classic arcade games - Aluna Rift - will officially launch on Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 27th 2025.

“The game actually started life as part of a job application” admits Ben. “I was asked to ‘recreate Asteroids (1979) in Unity’ over the course of a few days, and something about what I delivered really struck a chord with me. Everything just snowballed from there really! I challenged myself to evolve that initial work into its own unique fully fledged game”.
