Alter Evo changes
Our Steam page for AJ’s Anomaly is here.
Get ready to dive deeper into the mind Amelia Jalisco. Venture into the dark memories of her clothing company and learn about her struggles in the fashion business. Wishlist AJ's Anomaly now:
AJs Anomaly Shifting Perspectives
AJ's Anomaly is a new take on the Alter Evo universe, bringing first person anomaly horror mechanics to the series. Even with this change, we've kept the atmospheric and surreal elements that make our games fun.
Powered by Unreal 5
This is the first game we've built in Unreal Engine, but we've applied much of the knowledge we gained from building Alter Evo in Unity. Here's a few examples:
Set up UI for global language support early on
Used baked lighting to improve performance and visual quality
Used as few unique 3D assets as possible to keep build size down
Tested the game with both controllers and mouse/keyboard throughout development
Cyberpunk Fest
In other news we’re happy to announce that Alter Evo was accepted to be part of Cyberpunk Fest this August!
For the many of you who purchased Alter Evo during the Steam Summer sale - please leave a review on our page to help us get more visibility. We look forward to your feedback!
Sincerely, Technical Fiction
