Hello everyone!
I'd like to share a system I've been working on lately—the day/night cycle on the island.
This short video shows the accelerated day/night cycle: from one night through sunrise, day, and sunset—to the next.
In the game itself, time will flow slowly and naturally:
Morning—soft light and a sense of calm.
Day—bright sun and the opportunity to explore the island.
Sunset—beautiful warm tones and preparation for the night.
Night—complete silence and dangers lurking in the darkness.
It was important to me that every moment of the day created its own atmosphere and influenced the feeling of survival.
