All You Can FISH! changes
It's finally happening - All You Can FISH! is part of Steam Next Fest, and this update is the biggest one we've shipped since the demo launched. If you're visiting us for the first time through the fest: welcome aboard! And to everyone who's been here since the early days - reporting bugs, leaving suggestions, wishlisting, and just being generally awesome - this update is for you 🙏💖
Last patch I gave you my word that the next update would be all about the new tutorial. Well, a promise is a promise...
The New Tutorial & Onboarding Is Here!
This was by far the most requested thing since the demo launched (fish trap filter requesters - we remember you, and you're next up!), and we took our time to get it right. The early game has been completely reworked:
Sailor, the boat shop NPC, now walks you through the basics properly, with a brand new dialogue system (and yes, he's got some cute stuff to say to Luka 🐾)
A dedicated tutorial sequence with time freezes and on-screen prompts that explain the game and HUD step by step
New quests guide you through your first casts, catches, and skill unlocks
If you told us you felt lost at the start - this one's for you. Let us know how it feels!
Achievements + Stats
Another one straight from your requests (looking at you, Hokkaido 😉) - the demo now has achievements and a stats screen! Track your catches, your progress, and start hunting those unlocks.
New Stuff
2nd Region boat is here and playable - apologies to anyone who felt scammed because the boat wasn't equipable. We heard you loud and clear ;)
Boats are now equippable - and boats now display their stats in the Boat Shop, so you can compare your owned boats
Steam Cloud Save - your progress now follows you between machines
New Fish Unlocked! popup in the skill tree - unlocking a new fish finally feels like the event it deserves to be
Run summary screen improvements - items now appear per-catch in the summary, with better feedback all around
Per-fish catch feedback is now staggered, so big hauls feel way more satisfying
Skill unlocks have been changed to "special" with versions now shown on skills and tooltips
New Music & Audio 🎵
New OST tracks are in the game (made by the amazing Migfus), including a brand new track for the title screen
Dock ambient sound added to the shore scene
Visual Polish & Juice
Brand new title screen - the capsule art now comes alive with animated layers
New jump and run animations for Luka
The shore scene got a full polish pass
New catch orb feedback
- VFXLots of juice and polish all aroundVFX, UI feedback, and more
Bug Fixes
Fixed: getting stuck at the dock when entering a level
(Plus the usual round of smaller fixes and balancing. As always - if you find something broken, tell us here or on our socials)
One More Thing
You may have noticed the store page got a facelift too - new screenshots, updated descriptions, the whole deal. We wanted everything to look its best for Next Fest week.
What's Next
The full release is coming in August 2026, with 300+ skills, 35+ hand-drawn fish, and 6 biomes - each with its own original music. The demo is just the first taste.
If you're enjoying the game, a wishlist genuinely makes a huge difference for a tiny two-person studio (plus one very good dog) - especially during Next Fest. And if you've already wishlisted: thank you, you're the reason we get to keep doing this 💖
Happy fishing, and cya in the comments!
