All Quiet Roads changes
Hi everyone,
I wanted to post a brief update after being quiet for a long time.
A few years ago, shortly after All Quiet Roads launched, I stepped away from active development. I took a job in Big Tech and spent the last few years working on some genuinely fascinating problems, including putting AI onto avatars in the metaverse. I loved the work, learned a lot, and don’t regret that chapter at all.
Recently, that role ended due to a change in company direction, and that’s okay. It has given me the space to return to my own work, including this game.
First, an apology. I know I left All Quiet Roads without much communication, and that’s on me. Life moved fast, and the combination of time zones, deadlines, and a very demanding job made it hard to keep momentum here. Thank you to everyone who stuck around anyway.
Here’s what to expect next:
In the near term, I have an additional city for All Quiet Roads that was already well underway when I paused development. I plan to finish that work and release it. Expect an announcement about that sometime in the next couple of months.
Longer term, once my feet are fully back on the ground, I’ll begin work on a new game. I’m still exploring ideas, so I don’t want to promise details yet. Just that something new is coming, and I’ll talk about it when it’s real.
