I wanted to post a brief update after being quiet for a long time.

A few years ago, shortly after All Quiet Roads launched, I stepped away from active development. I took a job in Big Tech and spent the last few years working on some genuinely fascinating problems, including putting AI onto avatars in the metaverse. I loved the work, learned a lot, and don’t regret that chapter at all.

Recently, that role ended due to a change in company direction, and that’s okay. It has given me the space to return to my own work, including this game.

First, an apology. I know I left All Quiet Roads without much communication, and that’s on me. Life moved fast, and the combination of time zones, deadlines, and a very demanding job made it hard to keep momentum here. Thank you to everyone who stuck around anyway.

Here’s what to expect next:

  • In the near term, I have an additional city for All Quiet Roads that was already well underway when I paused development. I plan to finish that work and release it. Expect an announcement about that sometime in the next couple of months.

  • Longer term, once my feet are fully back on the ground, I’ll begin work on a new game. I’m still exploring ideas, so I don’t want to promise details yet. Just that something new is coming, and I’ll talk about it when it’s real.

I appreciate everyone who has spent time with All Quiet Roads over the years. More soon.
