Features

  • New Options Menu

  • New settings in the Options Menu:

    • Run in Background
    • Camera Speed
    • Date Formatting
    • UI Size
    • Dyschromatopsia
    • Text Speed

Improvements

  • Cameraadjusted default speed and braking behavior
  • General improvements to keyboard/control-stick navigation in menus

  • Increased threshold distinguishing clicks from drags (clicking with a touchpad should now feel easier)

  • Minor position and size adjustments to the Project UI, Dialogue UI, and Character Notes UI

  • Hardware-specific phrases (e.g. “Click with the mouse”) in tutorial texts replaced with generalized wording

Balancing

  • Reduced wound chances in the trench

  • Adjusted NPC troop behavior so they now move toward free machine-gun positions more reliably

  • Machine-gun fire is now slightly more dangerous

  • The “Too far forward/back” threshold is now more forgiving in the first three battle turns

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a critical error when a soldier was wounded near a position destroyed by artillery

  • Fixed a rare error message during level transitions

  • Fixed a late Wellinger story event that could never trigger

  • Fixed cases where no rotations into the trench or into battle occurred after a scenario

  • Fixed NPC dialogue options not being correctly removed, which could e.g. cause options meant for prisoners to appear on allied soldiers

  • Prevented rare cases where firewood had to be gathered during sunny or hot weather

  • Prevented the last active soldier from ending up in the hospital due to a worsening light wound

  • Fixed Karrsbruck rejecting breaks due to “upcoming additional work” some turns before the home-leave announcement

  • Fixed gas masks not being displayed after loading

  • Fixed several typos and made text adjustments

  • Additional minor fixes
