4th anniversary: new items, new achievements, Romanian version, stats and more!

On March 7th 2022, I was releasing my second Steam game, this game, Alchemistry. That means it's now 4 years old! What an experience :) Like on Extortion 5th anniversary, I wanted to write an update and share some figures about the game. You've been more than 2.2k people to buy the game and 28k to claim the demo! Thank you for supporting that little hobby of mine, you're amazing ❤️

Let's talk about this update. Here the changelog:

• Added 15 new items

• Added new recipes for existing items

• Added 2 new achievements:

  • Cave Johnson's mad at you

  • The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand

• [Demo] Added a missing icon

• Added support for a new language: Romanian, thanks to Daniel-Ioan Dinu on GitHub

• Compressed the game image to make the game lighter to download/have on a hard drive (yes, again, and I know, it's only a few hundreds megs already... but I could do better 😂)

• Added a carousel to the main menu showing my other games (So you'll learn about my new cool train-based game called Logistik!) [dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/3928180"]

• Applied my new project template to make it easier to work on the game later (I try to keep the same workspace through all my games, so it's easier!)

• Officially dropped 32 bit support along with some old OS. If you want to keep using it on some very old computer, you can use the pre-1.6.0 beta branch.

  MacOS

  Minimum supported version raises from 10.15 to 12 Linux: Minimum supported version for Ubuntu raises from 20.04 (or 18.04, I don't remember) to 22.04. 32 bits support is also officially dropped (it wasn't working for some time already)

  Windows

  Officially dropping support for 32 bits (it wasn't working for some time already). Windows 7 stays the minimum supported version.

• Fixed a security issue on the leaderboard

• Replaced the "storm" icon

And of course, updated the demo version to have the same bugfixes and improvements (except the new items, of course).

4th Anniversary Discount

From March 7th to March 21st, both my game will be discounted to celebrate this anniversary. Alchemistry will be at its new lowest price ever (-60%) and Extortion will be at -50%. You can also get them even cheaper using the bundle! (Less than the full price of one of them!)

And now, what's next ?

A few items are still present in my todo-list for this game, but there's less and less content to add, of course. There will probably be at least one or two more update in the next years and then... we'll see!
