Most importantly, this demo is supposed to give a representative impression of the overall game without being too long (expect a length of 1-2 hours), which is why there are a few time skips towards the end. However, saves from this demo are expected to be fully compatible with future Early Access and full versions, aside from having to do anything after the first time skip again. We hope that you will enjoy this small taste of what’s to come! You can also already leave feedback with Steam-Reviews which will help us get a good grasp of what works and what doesn’t! And don’t worry about being critical, because reviews on the demo won’t carry over to the full release.

The Way Forward

Speaking of Early Access, we made good experiences with that concept during CrossCode development, so this will once again be our plan with Alabaster Dawn! However, we want the first release you actually pay for to be well-polished and contain a satisfying amount of content so we are expecting that to happen in the first half of 2026. Please look forward to it!
