changedHow much of the game is done so far?NOTE: An official Demo and announcement trailer is still in the works, this is an EARLY version of the game with placeholder assets (no gen-AI). Only English language is available.
changedHow much of the game is done so far?We intend to have at least 5 playable characters which you can mix & match plus layered storytelling so whichever combination you choose, the gameplay and discoveries can differ. Currently Steam playtest does not provide our vision for the events in the game and there are only 3 playable characters.
changedWhat's the plan?Over the Summer, Steam Playtest will be updated every month and hand out keys in our Discord, so even if you don't get access during Deckbuilder Fest, you are more than welcome to join further down the road once more of the game is finished.

What is Against All Skies?

A bunch of amateur devs in Finland thought we'd get together and try to make our own party-based RPG. Well, we can't quite do that scope so we thought we'd try putting it into a roguelike deckbuilder format and here we are!

We're making a challenging party-based RPG roguelike deckbuilder with our own turn-based system.

How much of the game is done so far?

Starting in May 2025, the game has now been in development for 1 year and we are starting to scale up. This means - the art assets will be totally revamped, there are more playable characters to come, and of course a whole 4 acts to complete.

Right now, it's 1 act with very much placeholder assets, but we hope you'll enjoy the core experience of deckbuilding and synergising multiple characters across our sky isle journey!

What's the plan?

Over the Summer, Steam Playtest will be updated every month and hand out keys in our Discord, so even if you don't get access during Deckbuilder Fest, you are more than welcome to join further down the road once more of the game is finished.

We'll soon publish an official roadmap of how we intend to reach a release in 2027, information about Early Access and of course, sharing the intended final polish we want to achieve for our game.

If you love party-based RPGs, turn-based combat or roguelike deckbuilders, we sincerely hope you enjoy Against All Skies because honestly, this is for you.

All the best,

The AaS devs ("we love aas")
